Mozart In The Vineyard

Mozart In The Vineyard was an unconventional music and wine pairing experience that demystified classical music for a culturally curious audience.

It paired piano works by classical composers with a curated wine tasting flight in the casual, relaxed setting of Journey East, a beloved furniture and home decor destination at Tan Boon Liat Building.

This intimate and multi-sensorial music and wine experience featured Geoffrey Lim on a handcrafted SCHIMMEL grand piano performing works by Liszt, Tchaikovsky/Pletnev, Haydn, Debussy, Mozart, Chopin and Gershwin.

The music was paired with a tasting flight of 6 wines by The Amphora Project. The wines were low-intervention wines from indie, small batch producers in Slovenia and Central Europe.

This experience was kindly supported by our collaborators Journey East, Chiu Piano and Dirty Doodies.

Mozart In The Vineyard is presented by Fourth Space, a cultural programming studio for the New Age.

About The Amphora Project

The Amphora Project introduces low-intervention, small batch wines from Slovenia and Central Europe to a new generation of curious drinkers in Singapore. We represent independent wine producers who go back to nature, and combine ancient winemaking methods with uncompromising craftsmanship and a trailblazing spirit.

Our wine portfolio has a focus on skin-contact orange wines, pét-nats and juicy reds made using indigenous grapes from the region. Our energetic and distinctive wines are versatile for all occasion drinking, and create unexpected alchemy especially when paired with bold Asian flavours.

Beyond Slovenia - home to the world’s oldest grape vine - we also work closely with producers we adore from Austria, Croatia and Italy.
