A single continuous tube of polished stainless steel traces the entire foundation of the United Strangers Sevilla Occasional Chair, dropping into an S-bend cantilever that yields a subtle, spring-loaded flex the moment weight meets the seat. Instead of resting on four static uprights, the frame sweeps up from ground runners to shape the arm loops, fitted with slim slip-on textile cuffs that cushion the elbows while leaving the mirror-finished radiused corners open.
The upholstery itself draws from retro bucket contours, split cleanly down the center into twin padded channels that guide the hips into a natural recline. It is upholstered in Golden Era—an ochre chenille fabric woven with a tight cross-hatch texture and an irregular, light-catching slub nap.
The resulting profile borrows the relaxed, kinetic optimism of 1970s Italian modernism, floating substantial cushioning above bare floor space while letting daylight move unobstructed through its open sides.
