Pappelina Criss Runner Rug

The Pappelina Criss Runner Rug is a definitive expression of Scandinavian design heritage and modern functionality. Rooted in traditional Swedish weaving, this collection transforms durable materials into a bold, graphic statement for the contemporary interior. Unlike the "Pop" edition, this classic version maintains a singular focus, allowing its large-scale geometric grid to define the room without the contrasting hem.

The architecture of the rug is centered on a minimalist grid pattern that provides a sophisticated structure to large living spaces. The clean, intersecting lines create a subtle rhythmic energy across the floor, offering a visual anchor that integrates seamlessly into a curated home. In this expanded area rug format, the pattern acts as a structural landmark, organizing furniture groupings while maintaining an airy, modern aesthetic.

Beyond its formal qualities, the rug provides a practical layer of versatility, bringing intentional texture and colour to a living room, dining room, or transitionary space. Woven in Dalarna, Sweden, from high-quality plastic ribbons, the Criss rug represents an ideal blend of artisanal craftsmanship and high-performance utility. The material is machine washable and resistant to both water and UV rays, ensuring it remains a durable, low-maintenance fixture for high-traffic indoor areas or as a refined accent outside on the balcony.

Crafted from Phthalate-Free PVC
Every Pappelina rug is crafted in Pappelina's local weaving mill in Leksand, Sweden. Pappelina uses only Swedish-made, phthalate-free PVC combined with a strong polyester warp, creating durable, non-toxic rugs that last year after year. With skilled weavers and high-quality materials, each rug reflects contemporary Scandinavian design, vibrant colors, and world-leading quality.
