Description
Grounded by clean proportions and exceptional wood selection, this Midcentury Modern Sideboard is crafted by hand entirely from single slabs of old-growth solid teak. The top surface rests above an inset shadow line that creates a subtle floating reveal, edged with crisp beveled returns that trace the perimeter.
A mitered, raised outer frame encloses three balanced sections: two solid-wood side cabinets flanking an open central bay with paired lower drawers for media components, tableware, and everyday objects. Minimalist solid brass knobs provide small points of contrast against the unbroken vertical grain running across the hand-fitted door faces.
The credenza is supported by an under-slung stretcher base that terminates in outward-angled tapered pencil legs, elevating the low, wide stance to bring understated poise to a living or dining room interior.
