A play on moine (the French word for monk), the Gangzai Moinolo Rectangular Trinket Tray offers a deadpan study in ceremonial stillness. Draped in voluminous saffron robes and posed with solemn poise, this solitary cleric replaces traditional features with an ornate, woven vessel crowned by a solitary scarlet blossom. The warm ochre textile folds and crisp ceremonial sash stand out sharply against a pale celadon-green field. Enclosed by a slim, raised rectangular lip with a high-gloss finish, it brings a quiet, satirical presence to a desk, dressing table, or bedside catchall.
