Description
Originating from early 20th-century Java, this Colonial 2-Tier Corner Table translates classical European occasional furniture into handcrafted teak. Built with a sweeping bow front, its triangular footprint brings deliberate scale and warmth to a corner that usually goes unnoticed.
The top surface features an integrated raised molded rim along its perimeter, framing the dense, tight grain of the timber. Three hand-turned baluster legs support the frame, transitioning from square transition blocks into lathe-turned ring collars, tapered shafts, and rounded ball feet.
An open lower shelf mirrors the curved profile above, adding a second tier for storage or display while tying the leg posts together. Finished in a rich amber tone that highlights the natural grain, it serves as a grounded, durable heritage piece for a corner space.
