Description
This exquisite Chair With Queen Anne Legs is a beautifully crafted Colonial Revival statement piece, dating from the early to mid-20th Century (c. 1920s–1950s). Handcrafted from solid old teak wood, the chair showcases the superb blending of formal European style with Javanese craftsmanship and premium materials.
The frame is defined by its masterful use of curves, which speak directly to the artisan's high level of craftsmanship. It features elegant, hand-carved Queen Anne Legs ending with cabriole pad feet, celebrated for a graceful S-shaped curve, which provides a classical, regal foundation to the design.
The back is fitted with original, handwoven rattan caning, a timeless material that adds textural contrast and breathability. The seat has been newly reupholstered with a blue Trellis pattern, lending the piece a luxurious, formal finish. This stunning piece functions beautifully as an elegant side chair, a study desk chair, or a refined accent piece.
