Description
Defined by soft waterfall shoulders and generous three-bay proportions, this 1930s vitrine presents a clean, functional translation of Streamline Moderne. The solid teak top wraps smoothly over the corners to meet the side flanks, framing the piece with continuous, rounded contours.
Rather than sitting on conventional square blocks, the cabinet is grounded by flat, slab-like timber feet. Set cleanly flush with the plinth, these broad, low-profile pads lend the upright silhouette a grounded, architectural stability.
Across each glazed door, three slender timber ribs run vertically over the glass, adding a light linear motif without obscuring what sits on display. The lower section transitions into recessed solid teak panels fitted with integrated hand-carved pull bars, keeping the facade unified and free of metal hardware.
The Art Deco Display Cabinet provides generous, functional storage for tableware, glassware, ceramics, or books, built with the quiet weight and durability of old-growth Indonesian teak.
