Description
The symmetrical stepped profile of this original vintage Art Deco Bar Cabinet immediately captures the streamlined theatricality of 1930s entertaining. Handcrafted from solid aged teak, the piece is designed with an elevated central drinks station flanked by low, tiered curved display wings that bring visual balance to dining rooms or compact lounge areas.
At the core, a two-door cabinet features glass door overlaid with slender, hand-shaped teak tracery in an elongated capsule motif. This geometric fretwork frames the interior without fully obscuring it, offering a protected view for cocktail shakers, glassware, or fine spirits. The central cabinet top is crowned by an Art Deco fan motif pediment that prevents bottles from tipping backward, while integrated vertical timber blocks serve as tactile door pulls.
Flanking the main cupboard, two open radiused side wings cascade downward in double tiers, providing open-access staging for decanters, ice buckets, or art objects. Elevated on low, integrated square block feet that echo the stepped silhouette, the piece combines generous entertaining utility with the distinct, formal elegance of 1930s regional Art Deco joinery.
