Description
This mid-century asymmetric teak display cabinet steps away from uniform shelving with an offset arrangement of compartments and tall vertical bays—proportioned to hold art books, ceramics, and glassware of different heights without awkward dead space. It carries an intentional two-tone contrast: a dark-stained outer frame paired against a noticeably lighter honey-toned interior, which bounces ambient light inward to spotlight whatever sits on the shelves.
The front frame is joined with mitered corners and cut with an inward bevel that leads the eye directly into the shelving. Full-height sliding glass doors glide along recessed wooden tracks to keep dust out, finished with clean finger grooves ground directly into the glass panels. Underneath, solid teak pencil legs angle outward, elevating the case to give an upright storage piece a slim, light-footed presence in the room.
