This original Partners' Desk is a monumental piece of Art Deco furniture, dating from the 1920s–1930s. Handcrafted from beautiful solid aged teak wood, its proportions exhibit a sense of geometric rigour and architectural scale, making a perfect fit for the era's grand office environments.
The Art Deco Partners' Desk is defined by its substantial, symmetrical form, designed to stand freely in a room and offer equal, integrated workspace for two individuals. Its silhouette is distinctly architectural, built with heavy, block-like pedestals and a thick top that establishes a commanding presence. The clean, vertical lines emphasize the Art Deco commitment to disciplined, bold lines.
Functionally, each side of the desk is equally appointed: it features a total of three drawers and one swing door (or cupboard space) in each pedestal, providing extensive, balanced storage. The original hardware has been rechromed, ensuring the period details blend seamlessly into modern homes and providing a clean, contemporary finish to the historic piece.
