Description
This rare original Colonial Cabinet with Queen Anne Legs showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of master carpenters, embodying the elegance and sophistication of colonial design. The cabinet features intricate handcrafted details, including a beautifully dentil moulding that adorns the top, adding a classic architectural element to its overall aesthetic.
The cabinet's two swing doors are framed with beveled glass panes, allowing for a clear view of the treasures within while providing a sense of light and space. Each door is embellished with beautiful beaded moulding detailing in an elliptical oval shape, complemented by a rectangular frame in the same manner around each oval detail.
Resting on gracefully sweeping curved apron brackets, the cabinet concludes with iconic Queen Anne cabriole legs—a testament to European neo-Rennaisance design influences in Asia at the turn of the 20th century.
