Timeless classics with a modern appeal.
Founded by New Zealander Logan Komorowski in 2009, United Strangers’ furniture collection is composed of timeless classics with a modern appeal.
The timelessness is derived from the aged materials that form the basis of all our furniture.
United Strangers works with bruised, battered and forgotten materials such as aged brass and surplus army tents. Every piece of furniture tells a unique story.
Their collections are characterised by the painstaking craftsmanship that goes into every piece of work, right down to the plaiting (braiding) and hand stitching which define their signature leatherwork.
Only top grain leather is used, and United Strangers is very serious about the colour processes they use, meant to maintain a very high standard natural finish.
Their focus on patina is another unique feature, with all finished by hand and are layered on in six stages to create a sense of depth.
United Strangers is currently stocked in 33 showrooms in 13 countries worldwide, and have now taken their journey to Singapore at Journey East.
