Stoned

Stoned is founded by Derkan Atakan and John ter Riet. The love for marble has always been in their blood. In 2014 they saw an opportunity to offer something exclusive yet totally familiar and we started to create our own products using high-end marble. Simple serving and kitchen boards, cut and polished by hand in their own small workshop, and other basic yet elegant designs.

Their exclusive collection has since grown from a pop-up store in their Amsterdam neighborhood. They count Armani and Scotch & Soda among clients for custom marble work, and their products can also be found in over 200 stylish concept, design and department stores across the globe, like the Dutch luxury department store De Bijenkorf, Conran Shop, and now Journey East in Singapore.

Design approach
Their headquarters still remains in their beloved Amsterdam neighborhood – where it all began – a charming shop and office space filled with urban and chique marble homeware, inspired by their open-minded hometown.

Stoned is here to stay. Serving and kitchen boards and other stylish items like fruit bowls, wine coolers, book ends, vanity trays and side tables. Minimal designs from Amsterdam. All made out of beautiful marble sourced from the Aegean coast and the Turkish countryside.
