About

Heritage

Curating well-designed, functional and unique furniture pieces in Singapore for over twenty years. Come share our obsession of designer, vintage, retro, upcycled, recycled, and things we love .

Consistently mentioned as one of Singapore's favourite furniture stores, Journey East continues to enhance beautiful homes and prominent commercial spaces.

Our journey started in 1995, where we first set up at the then-unknown locale of Dempsey Hill. Our initial collections comprised mostly of original vintage and retro collectibles, driven by a passion for teak wood and antique craftsmanship of a bygone era.

Our offerings have evolved over the years, and the range has expanded to include eco-friendly reclaimed teak wood furniture, industrial-styled furnishings crafted with iron and wood, as well as modern designer furniture pieces and home accessories. Our original vintage and retro collection still remains highly sought-after.

In 2015, we also launched our very own collection called PLAYplay, which has taken the design world by storm, with features in prominent international and local design media, including Wallpaper*, Elle Decor, Dezeen, and was named by Dwell as one of the top things to see at the 2016 Milan Design Week.
