Designers Junyao Lin and April Chen wanted to introduce an element of fun steeped in Singapore’s customs with the motif of the playful pineapple.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA rug is usually created by knots. Studio Ensemble has translated knots into pixels and combined them to form different shades, which come together to form an abstract visual of fruit's texture. Unroll the rug on a flat, hard surface. Don’t worry if the edges curl up, this will disappear naturally over time.
