Art Deco Tubular Sofa

Streamline Art Deco with an Asian twist

This item has been sold. Thanks for your interest.

An original 1920s sofa built in the iconic Streamline Moderne style, with a design referencing the legendary Kem Weber and his work with the Lloyd Manufacturing Company in the 1920s and 1930s.

The 'B-frame' of this sofa showcases an emphasis on curving forms and long lines, giving the impression of sleekness and modernity. An elegant accent of lacquered Teak wood adorns each armrest.

Respecting and remembering the Asian origins and craftsmen who built this piece, we decided to reupholster it with a classic Batik motif, with an elegant Camaro PU leather piping along the seams, allowing it to fit nicely with a modern living room or lobby lounge setting.

Circa 1920s-1930s, sourced in Central Java.
Product code: JKT165-55A.
